The scent – a mysterious code
The Copernicus Science Centre in co-operation with the Goethe Institute in Warsaw and the French Cultural Institute has organized an exhibition, which was held from 21st November, 2013 to 19th January, 2014. Being invited by the organizers, Pollena-Aroma took part in this event. We supplied the exhibition with scented substances in order to present perfumer’s work, re-created an ancient perfume Kyphi and displayed the replica of “The Queen of Hungary Water” in the historic fragment of this exhibition. “The Queen of Hungary Water” was originally invented by Elżbieta Łokietkówna and then re-created by our perfumers. We also organized a workshop “The secrets of aromatherapy” where Dr I. Konopacka-Brud delivered her lecture. More than 100 participants could independently make aromatherapeutic blends from essential oils of the Dr. Beta® series. See pictures >>
Our contribution to this exhibition and the mass media interest in scents, aromatherapy and our activity resulted in many TV and radio programs as well as numerous articles appearing in the press.
